► Power system studies are at the core of our business. For decades, our team members not only used one software suite developed by DIgSILENT GmbH in Germany for all our system studies, but also assisted in the development of this software. Our long-standing relationship with the developer, coupled with our in-depth knowledge of and experience with the unique PowerFactory software, enables us to perform a wide range of system studies efficiently.
► Our power system studies form the basis of our consultancy services. For example, our consultancy service for renewable energy integration (grid connection) includes load flow and contingency analysis, short circuit calculations, protection coordination, energy losses, power quality (harmonics and flicker), low voltage fault ride through, reactive power capability and voltage control studies.
About us
A&Y Power System Consulting Ltd (trading as A&Y PSC Ltd) is an independent engineering and consulting company established in June 2025 by Dr.-Ing. Yuven Yerima. It is led by three professional power system engineers and researchers who have extensive experience in the power system industry.
A&Y PSC Ltd is a small, specialised consulting firm that provides a range of highly specialised electrical power systems services. The company's market niche lies in its expertise in specific areas of power systems analysis, including computer simulation and modelling, bespoke training programmes, knowledge transfer programmes and specialised power systems studies.
A&Y PSC Ltd therefore focuses its activities on various areas of power systems analysis. These include for example stability studies, the simulation and modelling of complex power systems, the integration of renewable energy and grid code compliance studies.
A&Y PSC Ltd primarily operates in West and Central Africa. However, A&Y PSC Ltd will in the future also be operating in other parts of Africa and worldwide.
