Dr.-Ing. Yuven Yerima, founder of A&Y Power System Consulting Ltd has over three decades of experience in power system engineering, software innovation and leadership. After earning a Doctor of Engineering (Dr.-Ing.) in Power System Reliability Analysis (with AI applications) at Universitas Saraviensis in Germany in 1996, he spent eleven years at IDS GmbH developing advanced SCADA solutions for network control, supervision, and automation. 

This was followed by a decade at DIgSILENT GmbH as Senior Power System Consultant, delivering complex network studies, integrating GIS/SCADA and PowerFactory systems, and supporting global clients with renewable energy integration and specialised training. From 2016 to 2022, he led the Distribution Network System Department at DIgSILENT GmbH, driving product strategy, business development (large-scale PowerFactory integration projects such as ERABLE for Enedis in France) and technical delivery for distribution networks. 

From 2022 until June 2025, he served as Principal Engineer, managing strategic consulting projects, key accounts, and knowledge transfer across power system sectors. Since 2007, he has presented more than 140 training sessions and seminars worldwide on the application of DIgSILENT PowerFactory power system analysis software in German, English and French.

This extensive technical and industry experience culminated in the establishment of A&Y Power System Consulting Ltd in June 2025 - an independent engineering and consulting company trading as A&Y Ltd.  Some References.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Marilyn Asmah is an accomplished academic and power systems expert with a strong background in electrical engineering, power system stability and renewable energy integration. Marilyn Asmah earned her Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Driven by a passion for energy innovation, she moved to Germany to pursue advanced studies, completing her Master’s in Electrical Power Engineering at TU Darmstadt.

Her academic journey continued at TU Dortmund University, where she earned her Ph.D. in Power Systems with a focus on Stability of Electrical Grids under the Integration of Renewable Energy Sources. This research reflects her commitment to addressing one of the most pressing challenges in modern power systems: integrating renewables while maintaining grid stability.

Beyond academia, Prof. Asmah brings extensive industry experience. She worked at Westnetz GmbH, leading initiatives in the Asset Management (ISO 55001) and Energy Management (ISO 50001) Systems. She also spearheaded the EcoGridPlan project (€1.6M project budget), which integrates sustainability and resilience into grid planning. Her international perspective is further enriched by her work experience as a technical editor for the Ghana Energy Commission, bridging knowledge between Europe and Africa.

Prof. Asmah has a proven track record in teaching and mentoring, having served as a lecturer at Bochum University of Applied Sciences. Currently, she is a Professor at Ruhr West University of Applied Sciences, where she teaches courses on Energy Networks, Grid Integration of Renewables, and Electrical Engineering Fundamentals. Her research areas include power system planning, network modelling and optimization, stability analysis, sustainability, etc. She is the founder of the SHINE Network and a founding partner of the A&Y Power System Consulting Ltd.
