Support

A&Y Power System Consulting Ltd (trading as A&Y PSC Ltd) is not the official representative of DIgSILENT GmbH (Germany) in West Africa, therefore A&Y PSC Ltd provides mainly support for all in-house developed models. These models are developed using PowerFactory's DPL, QDSL and DSL programming tools, as well as Python. A&Y PSC Ltd offers the following support services to PowerFactory users:

• PowerFactory software customisation (scripts, models and user interface). Users have their own requirements, applications and personal preferences when it comes to software. In large companies, it is also necessary to ensure that corporate business needs are met, such as adhering to standard operating procedures and, of course, ensuring data security. A&Y PSC Ltd can customise PowerFactory to adapt to different user needs.

• PowerFactory Software installation: Key steps for installing PowerFactory include downloading the software from an official source, verifying its digital signatures for security, running the installer, and configuring the licence. In some cases, assistance may be required to set up and configure the database.

• Data migration and grid model development in PowerFactory. We provide support for data migration and grid model development in PowerFactory. This enables utilities and engineering teams to transfer existing network data into PowerFactory, where they can then create accurate digital grid models for simulation, analysis and planning purposes.

• We can provide PowerFactory user support for our customers. 

• We can organise DIgSILENT training in Germany.
